150 m³ Drum Filter for Closed Water and Aquaculture Systems
The 150 m³ drum filter is a high-capacity mechanical filtration solution designed for modern recirculating and closed water systems. It effectively removes fine suspended solids and organic contaminants, helping to maintain stable water quality and optimal conditions for fish, shrimp, and other aquatic species.
The filter housing is manufactured from 12 mm thick food-grade polypropylene, providing excellent resistance to moisture, chemicals, and mechanical stress. Inside the unit, a large rotating drum equipped with a stainless steel filtration screen ensures reliable and continuous removal of impurities without interrupting system operation.
Filtration Process and Design
Water enters the filter through multiple inlet connections and passes evenly through the drum screen with a filtration fineness of 63 microns. Solid particles are retained on the screen surface, while purified water exits through the outlet connections. When contamination reaches a preset level, integrated sensors activate the automatic flushing cycle.
During flushing, the drum rotates and a powerful pump directs water jets onto the screen, washing accumulated debris into the drain. This fully automated process eliminates the need for constant operator supervision and ensures uninterrupted filtration.
