200 m³ Drum Filter for Industrial Aquaculture Systems
The CrawTec 200 m³ drum filter is a high-capacity mechanical filtration solution designed for large fish and shrimp farms operating with recirculating aquaculture systems. It provides continuous removal of suspended solids and mechanical contaminants without the need for constant operator supervision.
Water enters the filter through multiple inlet connections and is evenly distributed across two filtration drums. Fine particles are retained by a stainless steel mesh, ensuring stable water clarity and reliable system performance even under high hydraulic loads.
Filtration Process and Design
The filtration system is based on two rotating drums equipped with 63-micron stainless steel screens. When the level of contamination increases, the automated control system activates the cleaning cycle. Gearmotors rotate the drums while an integrated high-pressure flushing pump removes accumulated sludge without interrupting filtration.
